Welcome

The south-facing gites are classified 3 stars and are spacious, well-equipped and full of rustic Provençal charm. The property has its own spring source providing unadulterated drinking water and pure water for the two infinity pools which are salt treated – there are no chemicals to be found at La Crose!

There is space to park up to 6 cars, a recycling area for your convenience, a large boules court, a swing for children and an area by the pool allocated to each gite.
Who we are
We are the happy owners of the Gîtes de la Crose since May 2021. The decision to change our lives so dramatically was prompted by a desire to fulfil a dream – of escaping corporate life to live simply, in a beautiful area, where the sun shines brightly – and all whilst we were still relatively young.

Originally from the Var, Stéphane started his career in the restaurant business and then followed his passion and became a dance teacher in 1997. He is an artist at heart and enjoys anything creative – playing piano, singing, cooking, gardening… His strong point? Listening to and taking care of others.

English, residing in France for over fourteen years and a former International Events Manager, Paula’s main strengths are her organisational skills. You can be confident she will ensure that everything runs smoothly during your stay. She enjoys swimming, nature, early mornings and sharing an aperitif in the sun…

Vinsobres forms part of the region’s tourist route and its wine is classified Cru des Côtes du Rhône since 2006, the highest designation possible. Its olive trees are part of the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée Nyons, there is much lavender around and the gastronomic jewel, the truffle, is harvested in the region and accounts for 80% of all French production.
